EAS MYOPLEX LITE INFORMATION
This unique, custom-engineered Myoplex nutrition shake is formulated to
include protein, vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients your body
needs to maintain muscle tissue while you reduce calorie intake and optimize fat
burning—and Myoplex Lite has 33% fewer calories than the original
Myoplex nutrition shake. Myoplex Lite has the specially formulated
proprietary blend ProLean II comprised of ion-exchanged whey protein as well as
soy-protein isolates, which have been shown to support the metabolism as well as
muscle mass, especially during a low-calorie diet or an intense training cycle.
Scientific studies show soy-protein isolates may help minimize suppression of
thyroid-hormone production, which frequently occurs during calorie restriction.
Oftentimes, when you go on a low-calorie diet, your body fights back by slowing
down your metabolic rate, possibly by reducing thyroid-hormone production. When
this happens, losing fat can be even harder than it already is. To complement
the metabolic support provided by ProLean II, Myoplex Lite contains a
precise blend of natural phosphate compounds which, according to research, may
enhance workout performance and support the metabolic rate. In one study,
phosphate-supplemented subjects burned significantly more calories than those
using a placebo. Myoplex Lite is also unique in that it contains a
special blend of carbohydrates which help stabilize blood-sugar levels. One of
the novel carbohydrate sources in Myoplex Lite, called xylitol, has been
shown in scientific studies to actually help the body burn fat as a source of
metabolic fuel over blood sugar. And, to help offset the risk of nutrient
deficiencies, which plagues many dieters, Myoplex Lite is formulated with
29 vitamins and minerals as well as amino acids such as glutamine and taurine,
which are vital to proper muscle metabolism.

EAS MYOPLEX LITE FAQ'S
| Q: After I have mixed my Myoplex Lite nutrition shake, for how long
will it retain its' potency? |
| A: As long as your nutrition shake is not heated, the Myoplex Lite
nutrition shake should retain its' potency for up to 8
hours. |
| Q: May I supplement with Myoplex RTD instead of the Myoplex Lite and
still get the same results? |
A: You may certainly use both products, but keep in mind what each
product contains. Myoplex Lite has been specifically formulated to aid you
in enhancing your metabolism, whereas the Myoplex RTD was formulated to be
a nutritionally balanced, on-the-go meal supplement. For those competitors
who are looking to lose bodyfat, the Myoplex Lite may allow you a more
comprehensive meal supplement due to three of its metabolic enhancing
ingredients: Xylitol, Citrin K®, and a natural phosphate blend. Xylitol is
what’s known as a sugar alcohol, and it may aid you by keeping your blood
sugar levels even, increasing fat burning, and decreasing appetite. Citrin
K® (garcinia cambogia) has been shown in studies to aid with appetite
control and may aid in preventing the conversion of carbohydrates into
fat. The blend of phosphates included may assist with overall metabolic
support and enhanced workout performance.
The Myoplex RTD does not
contain these additional ingredients and as such may not give you the same
metabolic benefits as the Myoplex Lite. However, it does hold an edge in
terms of overall convenience. If you wish to utilize the Myoplex RTD’s as
part of your program rather than the Myoplex Lite, please do so, but be
aware of the advantages offered by each product. Perhaps the best solution
would be to incorporate both supplements into your nutrition plan, thereby
allowing you to benefit from the convenience offered by the Myoplex RTD as
well as the metabolic support offered by Myoplex Lite.

| Q: I noticed that the Myoplex Lite has
something called "sugar alcohol" in it. Does this product contain
alcohol? |
| A: No. The sugar alcohol indicated there is a
sugar substitute called Xylitol. Xylitol is classified as a carbohydrate
and has the same number of calories as any other carbohydrate (4 kcals/g).
The product does not act on the body in any way similar to alcohol and
would be safe to use for those with problems or moral objections in
regards to alcohol. |
| Q: How does Myoplex Lite differ from Myoplex? |
A: Myoplex Lite is created especially for people who are on a
calorie-restricted food intake. It has 30% fewer calories than Myoplex and
includes a proprietary protein blend called ProLean IITM, an ion-exchanged whey protein, as well as
soy protein isolates. Some research suggests that soy protein isolates may
support the metabolism as well as muscle mass, especially during a
low-calorie nutritional plan or an intense training cycle. A synergistic
blend of phosphate compounds has also been added to Myoplex Lite to add
further metabolic support. Recent research suggests that this phosphate
blend may not only support metabolism, but may actually increase resting
metabolic rate—which means that you might be able to burn more calories
even at rest.
Another exciting change in the Myoplex Lite formula
is a precision blend of low-glycemic carbohydrates, which helps to ensure
an even energy supply and well-controlled blood-sugar levels. One of the
unique carbohydrate sources is called "xylitol," which research suggests
may encourage the body to burn fat for fuel, even over blood
sugar. |
| Q: Instead of supplementing with Myoplex Lite, may I take the
regular Myoplex and just split the serving in half? |
| A: You could do so, but it is not going to give you what you are
looking for in a meal. Nor would it necessarily be your best option for
achieving particular goals. Each variety of our Myoplex lite is formulated
for specific goals and they're put together with the idea that 1 package =
1 meal. That is how the vitamin and nutritional components are set up and
that’s when the supplement will be the most
effective. |
| Q: I've heard there's a different sort of
sugar substitute in Myoplex Lite? Can you tell me more about
it? |
| A: The sugar substitute in Myoplex Lite is
xylitol, which is a sugar alcohol. Xylitol has the same number of calories
as glucose, however, it does not raise blood sugar and insulin levels to
the degree that glucose does (which is why xylitol is used as a sugar
substitute by diabetics). This means that xylitol may not be converted to
fat as easily as "regular" sugar, making it a perfect sugar substitute for
those interested in reducing bodyfat. In addition, research suggests that
xylitol, when compared to glucose, may improve nitrogen balance and
increase fat burning. It may also decrease your
appetite. |
